Drinking Water Systems
Distiller Warehouse Ltd. is proud to supply the Edmonton area with quality Hydrotech® reverse osmosis water purifying systems. These reverse osmosis systems offer a more advanced process than typical pour-through faucet filters.
How RO Systems Work
The source water passes through a series of sediment and carbon filters, which eliminate any unwanted particles, tastes and odours. Finally, the water passes through a reverse osmosis membrane, which removes the tiniest of particles.
Production Ratings
The system gallon ratings are determined under optimal conditions. However, optimal conditions are fleeting, and realistic expectations for production should be about one half of what the system is rated.
Replacing Filters
The carbon and sediment filters should be replaced once per year, and the membrane should be replaced every fourth year to maintain good drinking water and system efficiency. Filter variations are also displayed on this page.
