Hydrotech Reverse Osmosis Systems
These reverse osmosis systems offer a more advanced process
than typical pour-through faucet filters. The source water passes through a
series of sediment and carbon filters which eliminate any unwanted particles,
tastes and odors. Finally, the water passes through a reverse osmosis membrane,
which removes the tiniest of particles.
The system gallon ratings are determined under optimal conditions. However, optimal conditions are fleeting and realistic expectations for production should be about one half of what the system is rated.
The carbon and sediment filters should be replaced once per year and the membrane should be replaced every second year to maintain good drinking water and system efficiency. Filter variations are also displayed below.
